Tucked away in New York State's Finger Lakes Region, somewhere between Avoca and Howard, on a
quiet country road stands on ordinary steel gate. For 363 days out of the year the road beyond
the gate leads into a serene valley the locals simply refer to as "the Old Castle".
It's here that the line between folklore and fact begins to blur.
Wandering down through the woodlands, past the remains of the "Castle" foundation, the road opens into a great
meadow which is the base of a natural amphitheater. Here, for one weekend out of the year, a few thousand friends
gather to watch man & machine battle against the forces of gravity.
Join us Father's Day Weekend - June 14th & 15th, 2008 for another running of the AMA Sanctioned Avoca-Howard Hillclimb. This must-see family
experience will have more riders, bigger stunts, and plenty of fun!
